Jim Poel: It’s a 1947 Republic Model RC-3 Seabee.
It was in fairly good shape, but I’ve done a lot of restoration and some improvements. I’m trying to keep it as original as possible. That’s the original engine and panel, things like that. There are certain things you can’t duplicate. Text from General Aviation News web article.
